She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași (1996-2002). She completed her Ph.D. in “The Evaluation of Cognitive Impairment in Schizophrenia and Its Impact on Socio-occupational Functioning and Quality of Life” at the same university (2008-2012). She also received training in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in Iași under the auspices of the Romanian Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (2008-present).

With over 5 years of experience in outpatient psychiatry, she has diagnosed and treated over 1000 patients with various pathologies. She has also worked at the “Socola” Institute of Psychiatry for 10 years.

Her teaching and scientific activities are represented by the publication of over 40 articles in specialized journals and her position as an Associate Professor at “Apollonia” University in Iași.

Currently, she is a psychiatrist at the “Socola” Institute of Psychiatry in Iași, as well as in the specialized outpatient clinic She is also a member of various professional associations/committees, including:

  • Member of the Romanian Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy”
  • Member of the “Romanian Psychiatric Association”
  • Member of the Advisory Board of Integrative Psychiatry Bulletin (CNCSIS B+ rated journal)

  • Lecturer in psychiatry within the project “Training in new medical technologies and professional development for doctors and medical assistants in specialized outpatient clinics and hospitals

  • May-August 2013 – “Increasing the qualification/requalification level of employees in the healthcare and social sectors in the North-East region”, role: psychiatrist; POSDRU/108/2.3/G/83291.
  • August 2014 – present, responsible for the implementation of the “National Mental Health and Prevention Program in Psychiatric Pathology” at the Clinical Psychiatric Hospital “Socola” Iași
  • November 2013 – present, member of the Intercounty Medico-Legal Psychiatric Committee Iași
